Eliot is a double graduate from Western University where he completed a B.Sc. inBiology/Physiology and an M.Sc. from the Clinical Anatomy program, teaching humananatomy to medical and dental students and investigating the relationship between heartanatomy and surgical damage following heart valve surgeries. Eliot became involved inKidney CARE while working as a Clinical Research Coordinator on Dr. Lok’s research teamat Toronto General Hospital. Eliot joined Kidney CARE to volunteer with a wonderful group ofpeople to improve outcomes for chronic kidney disease patients.
Currently, Eliot works as a Research Coordinator at the Ontario HIV Treatment Network,coordinating a provincial cohort study of 5000+ people living with HIV. Eliot’s independentresearch investigates service utilization of people living with HIV in Ontario to identify gaps inservices and barriers to care. Eliot is a musical theatre actor, a runner, and the proud parentof a hamster named Honey.
